Execution Gateway Router
Cohesive FT FPL
200 South Wacker, Suite 1500 Chicago, IL 60606 US
The Drop Trade Consolidator (DTC) is a single purpose FIX appliance. The DTC manages your connections to any number of counterparties for the purpose of accepting FIX execution reports. It then consolidates those fill reports into a single message stream, and delivers them to a message queue ready for low latency polling by your software. This use case targets trading operations that employ many different front-end solutions on trader workstations, and are looking for a simple means to drive firm-wide position tracking. To reduce latency on your existing order routing FIX engine, consider off-loading post trade message management to the CohesiveFT Drop Trade Consolidator. The router can be thought of as having 2 facades - the "trading gateway" facade and the "execution source" facade. The trading gateway manages connections to multiple trader workstations, correspondents, and/or timing engines for the purpose of accepting orders and consolidating the orders for low latency forwarding over a single output. The gateway also takes reports and returns them to the originator of the order. The execution source facade is designed to manage multiple low latency outbound connections to exchanges, liquidity pools, and brokers. This appliance is called for when each of your in-bound order messages has a pre-established target destination.
