Highlights from FPL events globally

Welcome to the FPL Mexico Trading Briefing 2012

Created by Members of the Mexican Trading Community, For the Mexican Trading Community

"Our members organise our events to address the business and technical issues faced by their local financial communities that are also part of a global market. Our events are, like FIX itself, the most cost-effective way of reaching those local financial communities, in breadth and in depth."

Chris Pickles, Co-Chair FIX Protocol Global Events Committee, Head of Marketing - Financial Markets & Wholesale Banking, BT Global Services

This event is now closed. Thanks to everybody who contributed to the success of the conference.

The FPL Mexico Trading Briefing will provide an unrivalled opportunity for industry representatives to participate in a forum where the real issues, challenges and opportunities impacting the region's electronic trading community will be addressed. Building upon the success of the 2010 FPL Mexican Briefing, and at the request of FPL members and industry leaders from the financial community, FPL will this year be running the 2012 FPL Mexico Trading Briefing. This one day briefing will attract a target audience of approximately 200 market participants and will offer an interactive program that truly addresses market needs, providing impartial, high quality content. Additionally, this event will provide significant networking opportunities for all. Through a series of presentations and panel sessions this one day event, closing with networking drinks, will offer an invaluable and informative experience for local market participants who will benefit from:

  • An interactive program that truly addresses market needs, providing impartial, high quality content
  • The knowledge and experience of industry leading speakers
  • The opportunity to gain a deeper understanding of the FIX Protocol during the FIX 101 sessions
  • Significant networking opportunities throughout the day

A dedicated team of industry practitioners from the FIX Protocol Mexico City Event Working Group, including senior representatives from some of the region's leading investment firms, who have a detailed understanding of the challenges facing the markets today, are driving the event agenda to ensure it meets the trading needs of firms in Mexico in 2012.
