Template ID in XML Template Definition

Would it be a good idea to include the integer template id associated with a FAST template in the XML TD, by adding an additional "id" attribute to the template tag ?
For example :
Just to clarify I am referring to the Template ID that ends up going out onto the wire after the presence map.
