TransactTools' ttCONNECT FIX Engine
Ian Rosen / TransactTools, Inc. 10 Dec 2001 4:27PM ETLast month, TransactTools launched ttCONNECT, the most customizable, highest performance protocol engine available from any vendor today.
ENGINE HISTORY
ttCONNECT is the engine that powers the ttCERT and OpenFIX testing services. ttCERT is the counterparty testing platform used by large broker-dealers, ECNs and buysides, including JP Morgan, Archipelago ECN and the upcoming ArcaEx Exchange, Bloomberg Tradebook and Instinet to individually certify thousands of trading partner connections. OpenFIX is the session and application level testing tool currently used by more than three hundred companies worldwide to certify their own systems against the FIX Protocol Ltd (FPL) published FIX Session Level Test Cases - including broker dealers, institutions, exchanges, universities, and FIX vendors such as Javelin Technologies.
As such, ttCONNECT has been run against and tested with literally hundreds of FIX implementations, offering an unmatched degree of compatibility and reliability.
CUSTOMIZATION ABILITY
Because ttCONNECT has been required to work with hundreds of FIX implementations, ttCONNECT comes embedded with an run-time customizable programmatic scripting interface. Incoming and outgoing messages can be altered, in real time, to reflect the individual needs of your trading partners. A supplied core scripting library and an XML-based FIX data dictionary make this process very easy for someone with even minimal programming experience.
STANDARD FEATURES AND PRICING
In addition to an extreme compatibility level and customization ability, ttCONNECT, in our test environment, is currently outperforming published numbers from all major competing engine providers. Other features include high availability and load balancing at no additional cost, drop-in multiple protocol support, and an easy to use GUI.
ttCONNECT is very competitively priced in a flat-rate model. There are no volume-based or connection-based charges.
